PostSubject: Concerts of Awesomeness!   Concerts of Awesomeness! EmptySun May 16, 2010 11:02 pm

I just had this revelation... (like that... I can use big words ;-P) What if we tried to set up a full on concert that had a set of groups that play in an order we all set up beforehand? That way we can have a three part group play like four songs and then have another larger group play like 4-5 songs then have the big like full fellow/raid sized group to come on last and play like 5-7 songs... just like going to a full on concert IRL. We'd have a crap load of work to put it togethe,r but I think it could work and let other people get involved and not feel trampled on...

I was also wondering if we could try out our new songs in an area that doesn't have a lot of traffic. That way if WE like what we hear then we can add it to a set list. I was thinking maybe the cat room on the High Stair in Bree... or the Kinhouse... where ever we feel like.

Anyway... just a few thoughts from an addled, sleep deprived mind, lol.

I have bookmarked some songs that I would love to do as a big group. Smile

This is definitely something we can work on doing.
Lets see, I wonder how many people we have on board with this.
Oub, Bry, Eran, Ish, Me, Cris, Chug... Have I missed anyone? We just have to get other people to join us right?

PostSubject: Possible Playlist Material...   Concerts of Awesomeness! EmptyMon May 17, 2010 12:23 pm

K, so I did some research on top 40 etc. music, and listed the ones that I easilly recognized- If anybody is interested in doing any of these, maybe we could put together a tenative playlist and then research the abc files. Also, I think it would be cool if we could have several playlists set up here, by number or name, so we could just say, "Ok, lets play the Prancing Pony set tonight," or "Lets do the Beatles set," or whatever, and everybody would have the list so we could just go on the fly.

These songs were sourced from the website http://www.radiogold.gr/ which is mostly in greek, for some reason...
